Mw 6.7 Jujuy, Argentina
updated 30 November 2022

On 10 May 2022 a strong earthquake occurred at Jujuy, Argentina at a depth of 179 km. The seismic event occurred at 23:06:28 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.7.

The earthquake occurred hours after the Mercury-Jupiter-Neptune conjunction, but the lunar peak two days earlier and the Moon opposite Saturn were probably decisive for this seismic event as the lunar geometry followed on the critical planetary geometry from 4 to 6 May, which already triggered strong seismic activity near Taiwan and in the Bismarck Sea. With critical geometry overlapping it is difficult to determine which EM-charge was the final/decisive trigger. See also the Telegram posts below.
