Mw 7.1 Near the Coast of Southern Peru

On 14 January 2018 a major earthquake occurred near the Coast of Southern Peru at a depth of 40 km. The seismic event occurred at 09:18:45 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 7.1.

After the major earthquake North of Honduras four days earlier, additional critical planetary geometry on the 12th and 13th accelerated the stress release where stress was critical near the coast of Southern Peru, which resulted in another major earthquake. Note that the Venus-Sun-Earth alignment on 9 January was within the reach of both earthquakes. Also note the maor lunar peak on the 10th and into the 11th not converging with critical planetary geometry. The peak turns up high partially due to the Moon's alignment with Jupiter and Mars.
