Mw 6.3 Western Afghanistan

On 15 October 2023 a strong earthquake occurred at Western Afghanistan at a depth of 10 km. The seismic event occurred at 03:36:01 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.3.

The estimated primary trigger of this seismic event is a convergence of planetary semi-right angle geometry on 14 October 2023.

A critical convergence of planetary conjunctions occurred on 11-12 October. Late on 11 October a planetary conjunction occurred with Mercury, Venus and Jupiter. Within one hour, early on 12 October, a second planetary conjunction occurred with Mercury, the Sun and Neptune. A major seismic event was anticipated as a result, but did not occur. On 14 October a convergence of four planetary semi-right angles occurred with Mercury, two of which also involved Venus. This geometry converged with a New Moon, which was also an annular solar eclipse.

It was the fourth strong earthquake in the region. The first two strong earthquakes occurred on 7 October. A third strong earthquake occurred on 11 October.

Several atmospheric fluctuations marked regions in Pakistan and Afghanistan between 30 September and 13 October 2023.
