Mw 6.1 Western Turkey

On 23 November 2022 a strong earthquake occurred in Western Turkey at a depth of 10 km. The seismic event occurred at 01:08:15 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.1.

Four planetary conjunctions — the first three of which critical — occurred from 16 to 22 November, which resulted in major seismic activity on 18 and 22-23 November.
