Mw 7.0 Solomon Islands
updated 23 November 2022

On 22 November 2022 a major earthquake occurred at the Solomon Islands at a depth of 10 km. The seismic event occurred at 02:03:08 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 7.0.

Critical planetary conjunctions occurred on 19 and 21 November with Venus-Mercury-Mars and Venus-Mercury-Earth A critical lunar conjunction with Jupiter also occurred on the 19th and partially resulted in a high lunar peak coinciding with the critical planetary geometry.
