Mw 6.1 Off Coast of Los Lagos, Chile
updated 30 November 2022

On 23 September 2022 a strong earthquake occurred off the coast of Los Lagos, Chile at a depth of 31 km. The seismic event occurred at 22:53:29 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.1.

From 11 September to 3 October was considered a critical time-frame because of a long series of critical planetary geometry involving 19 conjunctions. This earthquake occurred after two planetary conjunctions on the 21st and 23rd and after lunar conjunction with Saturn on the 22nd.
