On 23 September 2022 a strong earthquake occurred at Northern Sumatra, Indonesia at a depth of 50 km. The seismic event occurred at 20:53:00 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.2.
From 11 September to 3 October was considered a critical time-frame because of a long series of critical planetary geometry involving 19 conjunctions. This earthquake occurred after two planetary conjunctions on the 21st and 23rd and after a lunar conjunction with Saturn on the 22nd.
