Mw 6.0 Komandorskiye Ostrova Region

On 20 September 2022 a strong earthquake occurred in Komandorskiye Ostrova Region at a depth of 10 km. The seismic event occurred at 18:23:43 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.0.

From 11 September to 3 October was considered a critical time-frame because of a long series of critical planetary geometry involving 19 conjunctions. The strong earthquake on the 20th occurred after the Mercury-Earth-Jupiter conjunction on the 18th.
