Mw 6.0 Vanuatu

On 11 July 2022 a strong earthquake occurred at Vanuatu at a depth of 10 km. The seismic event occurred at 21:10:48 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.0.

Due to critical planetary from 7 to 10 July there was a high probablility of strong to major seismic activity from 9 to 14 July with a slight possibility of a great earthquake. The strong tremor on 11 July was a precursor, which was followed by a very strong earthquake a day later. For more details watch the warning video below.
