Mw 6.2 Northern Sumatra, Indonesia

On 25 February 2022 a strong earthquake occurred at Northern Sumatra, Indonesia at a depth of 10 km. The seismic event occurred at 01:39:27 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.2.

The tremor occurred when Earth was involved in a covergence of two 90° conjunctions involving Mercury, one heliocentric and one geocentric. Because of Earth's close conjunction with Venus amd Mars, larger seismic activity was not anticipated until about 3 March. See also the Telegram post below.
