Mw 7.7 Cuba Region
updated 25 November 2022

On 28 January 2020 a major earthquake occurred in the Cuba region at a depth of 10 km. The seismic event occurred at 19:10:25 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 7.7.

A convergence of four planetary conjunctions occurred on 26-27 January involving the planets Mercury, Venus, Mars, Uranus and Neptune. A lunar conjunction, also with Neptune, occurred the next morning. In Addition, critical planetary geometry converged on 27-28 January, including right angles involving Mercury, Venus and Neptune.
