Mw 6.7 Fiji Region

On 1 September 2019 a strong earthquake occurred in the Fiji region at a depth of 608 km. The seismic event occurred at 15:54:21 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.7.

On 30 August the critical planetary conjunction Venus-Sun-Neptune coincided with four lunar conjunctions, one of which New Moon. These lunar conjunctions occurred due to the grouping of Mercury, Venus and Mars opposite the Sun, which resulted in the planetary conjunctions on 2-3 September.
