Mw 6.6 Offshore El Salvador
updated 31 May 2022

On 30 May 2019 a strong earthquake occurred Offshore El Salvador at a depth of 65 km. The seismic event occurred at 09:03:31 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.6.

From 24 to 31 May five alignments occurred, all of which involved Mercury. The critical Mercury-Venus-Neptune alignment on 25 May was already followed by a great earthquake in Northern Peru. The next lunar peak occurred later on 27 May, partially due to the Moon's alignment with Neptune. Within two-and-a-half days from this lunar peak a clustering of strong earthquakes occurred.
