updated 29 May 2022

On 25 October 2018 a strong earthquake occurred at the Ionian Sea at a depth of 10 km. The seismic event occurred at 22:54:51 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.8.

Four planetary alignments converged on the 24th and 25th, most notably a near quadruple alignment with the Sun, Venus, Earth and Uranus. With the additional alignments Sun-Mercury-Saturn and Venus-Mercury-Jupiter, seismic activity could have reached well over 7 magnitude.
