On 28 September 2018 a major earthquake occurred in Minahasa, Sulawesi, Indonesia at a depth of 10 km. The seismic event occurred at 10:02:43 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 7.5.
From 21 to 26 September 2018 five planetary alignments occurred, most critical of which were those involving Mercury, Venus and Neptune. If it weren't for the Sun-Venus-Neptune alignment on the 26th, major seismic activity could very well have occurred from the 23rd to the 26th, as was anticipated at the time. From this perspective, the earthquake — that caused a damaging tsunami — occurred late, a case that we can learn from, especially the involvement of Venus in combination with Neptune. The resulting seismic activity could easily have been larger, high 7 to 8 magnitude, not least because of the Mercury-Venus-Neptune alignment on the 21st. See also the 2018 Gulf of Alaska earthquake. The earthquake occurred with the highest lunar peak (index 14), but this is by no means a guarantee.
