Mw 6.9 Lombok Region, Indonesia

On 5 August 2018 a strong earthquake occurred in Lombok Region, Indonesia at a depth of 33 km. The seismic event occurred at 11:46:37 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.9.

No planetary alignments occurred in the days prior to the earthquake. Two lunar peaks occurred in just over 24 hours, peaking index 16, after which the earthquake occurred. Note the small planetary peaks surrounding the lunar peaks.
