updated 28 August 2021

On 25 February 2018 a major earthquake occurred in New Guinea, P.N.G. at a depth of 30 km. The seismic event occurred at 17:44:44 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 7.5.

A series of no less than six planetary alignments on the 21 and 25 February 2018 preceded the earthquake, all of which were significant.
