Mw 7.1 Puebla, Mexico

On 19 September 2017 a major earthquake occurred at Puebla, Mexico at a depth of 50 km. The seismic event occurred at 18:14:38 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 7.1.

The earthquake was preceded by a convergence of two critical planetary alignments later on the 16th and early 17th while Earth was about to line up with Mercury and Neptune. Lunar geometry was critical throughout the week with two peaks reaching 17. The earthquake occurred after the second peak that followed on the convergence of critical planetary geometry.
