Mw 6.5 Greece

On 17 November 2015 a strong earthquake occurred at Greece at a depth of 10 km. The seismic event occurred at 07:10:08 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 6.5.

The estimated primary trigger of this seismic event is a convergence of planetary and lunar geometry on 15-16 November 2015.

On 15 November two right-angle planetary geometries occurred with Venus. The first angle occurred with the Sun and Uranus early on the 15th. The second angle occurred with Mercury and Mars later on the 15th. Critical semi-right angle lunar geometry with Saturn and Neptune converged on the 16th.
