On 4 April 1905 a major earthquake occurred at Kyelang, India at a depth of 20km. The seismic event occurred at 00:49:59 UTC and had an estimated moment magnitude (Mw) 7.9.
Critical planetary geometry occurred on 28-29 March when three planetary conjunctions converged involving Mercury and four outer planets, most notably Uranus and Neptune within 10 hours. The first lunar peak occurrred on 31 March - 1 April, partially due to the lunar conjunction with Saturn. The second lunar peak occurred on 3-4 April, partially due to the Moon's critical geometry with Uranus and Neptune within 3 hours. During 1905 and 1906 Earth repeatedly came closely between Uranus and Neptune, which were on opposite sides of the Solar System. See also the 1906 reports.
